DeepSales has begun work with the Wolgok Jewelry Industry Promotion Foundation to help Korean jewelry exporters find overseas buyers and automate their outbound sales.

On June 9, DeepSales kicked off the 2026 AI Voucher Support Program, deploying its AI sales agent Selly to 12 Korean jewelry export companies.

A government program run by MSIT and NIPA

The 2026 AI Voucher Support Program is a government initiative administered by Korea's Ministry of Science and ICT and the National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), with a budget of approximately KRW 26.6 billion. DeepSales participates as a supplier in the small business track and will run the project through November 30 of this year, a period of roughly six months.

DeepSales delivers its LLM-based AI sales agent to each participating company as SaaS, covering the full outbound motion from global buyer discovery through international email outreach.

Onboarding 12 jewelry exporters

The kickoff session on June 9 brought together representatives from the 12 selected companies, all small businesses in the jewelry and accessories sector.

The session covered the project plan and walked each company through the onboarding process for tailored AI training. DeepSales will configure Selly around each company's product characteristics and target markets so it can identify the right buyers and generate relevant outreach.

The bottleneck: buyer data and sales headcount

For most Korean export SMBs, the hard part of going global is not the product. It is the absence of buyer information and the absence of anyone dedicated to selling. Jewelry companies feel this acutely: strong products and strong design, but no overseas sales network to carry them.

"These companies already have competitive products. What they do not have is anyone to put those products in front of an overseas buyer. Until now the options were a trade show booth or an existing contact, and not much else."

"What Selly does is widen that range to buyers anywhere. Six months from now, the goal is for all 12 companies to walk away holding their own overseas pipeline."

Jihyun Lee, Product Manager at DeepSales

The intent is for participating companies to run their own overseas sales pipeline without hiring a dedicated sales team.

Program targets

The project replaces manual, trade-show-dependent buyer discovery with an AI-driven process. The targets set for this program are:

  • Buyer discovery volume: increasing from an average of 3 per company per month, based on DeepSales operating data, to 300 or more.
  • Preparation time: reducing weekly buyer research from 5 hours to under 1 hour.

The aim is to move past information gathering and into actual export conversations and contracts.
